Creative Admin Intern
At GoodThings
Location: Mostly remote, but occasionally meeting in-person in Rittenhouse no more than 1-2 times per week
ABOUT THE POSITION:
GoodThings is currently searching for a creative, ambitious, organized and passionate intern for Winter 2025. We have a big event coming up on March 1st (that you must be available for) that you’ll be helping plan and produce!
This internship opportunity will focus on:
Creative strategy & planning
Partnership strategy & outreach
Event planning & production
Community engagement
Social media strategy & content creation
Responsibilities will include:
Publishing event & profile submissions on the website
Assisting with event planning & production
Responding to inquiries and reaching out to potential partners, sponsors & collaborators for events and various projects
Assisting with strategy, planning & brainstorming sessions for content, product and community engagement.
Engaging with Club Members in Geneva and occasionally attending/assisting with events hosted by GoodThings

How to plan, manage and delegate tasks
How to plan, produce, market and analyze the success of events
How to build a strong, highly engaged following and community
How to use various software & tools like Squarespace, Asana, Tally, Streak, and more
About GoodThings:
GoodThings is a community platform designed to keep locals and visitors in the know about all things small, local and independent in Philadelphia. With our three detailed directories, we make you aware of all the People, Places and Things To Do in Philadelphia that you never knew about! And to take it a step further, we provide a community of people to explore the city with in The Club.
Position type: Part-time (no more than 10 hours per week)
Duration: January 7th, 2025 - March 14th, 2025
Pay: We wish this could be a paid opportunity, but at this time, we are unable to offer financial compensation. We aren’t making enough money yet. But as a one-person operation, we do need help getting to that point and we know that there are people that could benefit from the experience. So if you are able and willing, we invite you to apply. If you are unable to afford an unpaid internship, we understand and we have been there. We are working to be able to offer paid opportunities soon.
