Almost a year has passed since the sudden collapse of the University of the Arts — an institution that inspired, challenged, and transformed generations of artists, dreamers, and makers for +130 years. There is no right way to grieve a place like this. No urn, no plaque, no single eulogy can contain what it meant to so many.

From June 4th to June 8th, this altar will become a space to gather, reflect, perform, and celebrate a place that shaped Philadelphia’s cultural life for more than a century.
