Join renowned artist Tom Judd for a dynamic, hands-on workshop exploring the expressive world of collage in modern and contemporary art. With decades of experience and a deep personal connection to the medium, Judd will guide participants through an inspiring day of learning, making, and sharing.
This workshop is perfect for artists of all levels, from beginners curious about collage to seasoned makers looking to shake up their process.
What to Expect: An engaging introduction to the history of collage from early 20th-century innovators to contemporary artists redefining the medium today. A supervised working session where you'll create your own collage-based artwork. With both group instruction and one-on-one coaching, you’ll experiment with layering, composition, and texture using a variety of mixed media materials provided. Conclude with a final group critique, offering each participant the chance to share their work and receive constructive, supportive feedback from the instructor and fellow artists.
